1.Preparation of requirement list, which includes the data and information, required for finalization of cost records.

2. Communication with the concerned person in the Stations regarding data and Information required to maintain the cost records.

3. Identification of Cost Centres.

4. Preparation of Expense Control Chart.

5. Preparation of Income Control Chart.

6. Preparation of services-wise and station-wise power and fuel details in terms of quantity and value by compilation of monthly electricity bills of different station or cargo, fuel purchases etc.

7. Assisting in to extract out the cost centre-wise bifurcation of fixed assets with the help of Fixed Asset Register maintained by the company.

8. Allocation, Apportion and Absorption of Overheads • Primary distribution of overheads. • Secondary distribution of overheads. • Specific identification method. • Relative value method. • Area methods or other value methods.

9. Preparation of Service-wise Cost Statements.

10. Reconciliation Statement of Financial Profit & Loss and Profit & Loss as per Cost Records.

11. Preparation of Indirect Tax Reconciliation Statement.

12. Any other work as may be assigned which is not specified in the above scope of work to ensure Cost Audit compliance.

Finalization of annexures of Cost Audit Report

1. Finalization of Cost Accounting Policy for Cost Audit Report.

2. Preparation of annexures to Cost Audit Report of the Company.
